Two hours of bush wacking on the east side of the Whitemud Creek. There were no trails to be found except for the beaver trails. We zigzagged with the stream in grass, mud, water & thick bush till we crossed the stream across a beaver dam to the west side of the creek. There we did some SERIOUS UPHILL BUSHWACKING till we found a trail that took us back to the cars in about 45 minutes. Total time, about 3 hours. Fantastic exercise only available under those conditions.I'm strating to know my way around the sanctuary.
