Due to a change in the pipeline construction schedule we ended up heading to our original destination, Celestine Lake.
The trip went as planned. Even the rain come in on cue and only happend while we were in our tents Friday night after our fire/social time. It wasn't too warm or the bugs were too bad. We had the backcountry campsite all to ourselves and even managed to hike up to a top of a look out overlooking the Athbascan Valley. The crew was a nice mixure of experienced and novice backpackers.
On the Sunday we hit the Miette Hot Springs and then later had supper together in HInton before heading home.
