You have to love Alberta... from piles of snow to blustery winds to full-on scorching eye-lid sweating hot hot heat in two weeks.

We did a loop with Neon Lake, Spruce Hollow, Grouse and Lost Lake trail to the Meadow Shelter where we stopped for lunch. Closing the loop, we used Meadow, Waskahegan, and Lost Lake trail to get back for a total of 12.5km hiking. It's an easy route - an easy hike, but with the scorcher of a day we had, we were pretty wilty by the end and happy to have the wind and rain starting to roll in.

Linda pointed out that the trails would be fantastic for biking... next time we go I think we'll give that a try!
