Well tonight was the "kick-off" and the first hike in a series of conditioning hikes to be offered to those wishing to get in shape for backpacking. We had a small group of 6 hikers. We started out slowly and gradually increased the pace, we did a few sets of stairs around the Capilano bridge and then headed back to the cars. It wasn't a long strenuous hike but a good start to get the blood pumping. Next time we can increase our time, pace and add some weight to build up our stamina and endurance. It was a nice small group, thanks to all who were able to come out and enjoy the hike. Happy Trails, Mae
