Write Up:
After the torential rainfall of the late afternoon the sky cleared off and we had a beautiful, warm evening for a ride and a wonderful group of riders.
Our route took us from Government House Park to Beaumaris Lake and back along some of the city's designated bicycle routes. For me, the most pleasant was the Park Bikeway Path (127 St.).
Thanks to everyone who came out:
Andrew, who was forced to drop out (very) early with mechanical problems.
Lori, our brave (and defeated) bicycle mechanic from Calgary.
Gay, who was on her first ride with Rhonda and I. "Hi, Gay."
King, as enthusiastic as ever, on his shiny new loaner bike. (Will he want to give it back?)
Shane, new to the club, on his first event. Welcome.
Sunny, who rejoined us for a cycle after participating in other activities for the last year. Welcome back.
