Write Up:
This was a fantastic day. The weather was great - we had a brief period of cloud and wind, but for the most part, a blue-sky, warm sunny day. We rode about 27.5km (not the 16km that Brent promised us) to do the entire tour, seeing four eco-friendly homes, and the school which had, among other things, solar-cooked cookies and a bike-powered slushie maker. On the return trip, we stopped for ice cream at What's The Scoop in Old Strathcona. I enjoyed showing of Mu, my folding bike, to a few folks. Thanks for a wonderful day, Brent, and thanks to Christine for forwarding us the info about the Eco Home tour which we wouldn't have considered otherwise.
