Write Up:
It started out nice when we left Gold Bar parking lot and headed for a warm up to the west. We turned back east and into the trails up and down the hills, first on groomed, then started into the smaller trails. There were lots of up and down on the hills, some trail "finding" loops and dead ends, but we made our way east, finally finding the old green truck near the east end of the valley. There were a few slippery hills after the rain started, but we all donned rain jackets and kept going. It was a really good hike through some fun back trails. Total km? Hard to say with all the bends and turns. Total time, we left at 6:15, and were back at the parking lot by about 9:00. We all had fun and left for home a bit wet, but with great spirits and a good workout.
