What a beautiful weekend, in a beautiful place!! The weather was amazing, blue skies, as we hiked an amazing trail. We arrived at Robson Meadows camground about 8:00 pm, set up camp and enjoyed the evening. The next morning, a bit of a later start saw us picking up our tent passes and watching the info movie and then heading out onto the trail toward Whitehorn. The after a very pretty 7 km, we stopped at Kinney Lake campground to enjoy the view and have a snack. We walked across the watershed to the other side of the Valley of a Thousand Falls to catch the trail on the other side where a moderate climb awaited us. We made it to Whitehorn campground after the swinging wooden bridge where we found spots and set up camp. Most of the group continued up toward the 2nd falls on a pack-lighter hike and returned to camp for supper and a nice evening around a fire. We returned down to the trailhead sunday where an ice cream was waiting for us, before the drive home. Thanks to all for coming, those who drove; it was a fun group, and we had a beautiful hike!
