Sun, Oct 29 2006 - Day Hike - Woodland Lookout Trail (View Original Event Details)
|
First snow event! It was a beautiful day to explore the wooded area. The weather wasn't too cold but there was almost enough snow to snow shoe. The group left the parking lot via trail 1 then went on trail #2 on the South side of Dog Leg Pond (Nature's Way). We then travelled on Trail #4 (Cranberry Corner) then at the bridge took The Wall. I think this name suites this hill because it was like climbing a wall. After Raspberry Peak we took trail#2 back to the parking lot on the North side of Dog Leg Pond.
9km of trail + 6 inches of powder + 3 hours in the cold = 1 drink at the pub
